Things to be considered before confirming admission in Ukraine
The Admission process is not direct, hence you cannot deal directly with any college. You will always have to be through an agent. Don't be deceived, not all those websites you see on-line carrying the names of the Universities are the real University websites. Many of those supposed University websites are dubious. BEWARE!
The payment of the university fee is most of the time paid to an agent before departure from India to Ukraine. Sometimes these agents don't pay for a full session for the students, they sometimes pay for a semester and leave the student to his/herself. Some wicked agents dont even make any payment (They just run away with the money). The sad thing about this is that the students will not be able to know these things while in India because of the language barrier.
Weather is very cold in Ukraine but students get to adapt after a while.
You have to learn not only Ukrainian but Russian in some areas as additional language as due to mixed races in community.
Some of the Universities don't offer proper hostel accommodation to students as advertised by some agents.
Very few university offers Indian mess. And very few of them really prepare proper Indian food as most of them don't have Indian cooks.Vegans sometimes are left with no options other than nonveg food.
In many instances more numbers of students get admitted by fraud agents compared to available seats which eventually makes students to migrate to another university against their choice and will.
There is a wrong information being spread in India by the agents that the students would be able to get EU visa. The fact is that Ukraine is NOT a part of European Union. In fact,Ukraine is a splintered country of Russia. When you study in Ukraine, you may be promised by the agents that you would get a job as a medical practitioner in Europe. That might be deceiving information. do not choose Ukraine as your study destination on the wrong promises of work promises in EU.
